SHOKK Youth Gyms offer a wide variety of activities from classes like kombat, break-dance and street-dance to sports specific training. The gyms even feature the latest interactive gaming products to really help engage physical activity. SHOKK YOUTH GYMS have a complete range of
cardiovascular, resistance and interactive fitness
equipment specifically designed for ages 5 to 16 years.
The body of a growing young person is very different to
that of an adult, therefore it is unsafe for them to use
adult fitness equipment. SHOKK Youth Gyms equipment have
been developed through well over a decade of sports
science research in collaboration with elite government
and academic institutions.
SHOKK YOUTH GYMS communicate and promote the UK-wide physical activity guidelines. Young people should:
Engage in moderate to vigorous intensity physical activity for at least 60 minutes and up to several hours every day.
Vigorous intensity activities, including those that strengthen muscle and bone, should be incorporated at least 3 days a week.
All young people should minimise the amount of time spent being sedentary (sitting) for extended periods.
